Commission Elections

Commissioners are elected every November on a two year rotation. Other positions are appointed by the City Council. Please contact the Clerk if you would like to be considered for an open position or would like to run for a City Council Seat.

Three seats are open for November 5, 2024 election. City Charter requires a candidate to be a resident of the City for one year at the time of the election.  

Four (4) Members of the community have turned in Petitions to have their names placed on the ballot: Peter Aranda, Jane Danger, Frank Dockter, and John Miller. 

If you missed the deadline to submit a Petition you may still submit a Declaration of Intent which would make you a valid write-in candidate for the November 5th election.

So far we have had 2 Declaration of Intents filed and 2 write-in candidates are now available in the November election for Commission seats; Gage Gardner and John Spoula.
